Milena Korynl is director of labor market research, performance, and compliance at Anne Arundel Workforce Development Corporation. She has worked in workforce development field for 12 years. In addition, she spent a number of years analyzing home/business lending data, as well as power supply market information.
Milena has conducted numerous labor market research and evaluation projects using publicly available and proprietary demographic, workforce, and social/economic data. The results were used internally as well as in publications (developed by Talent Development Pipeline Study and published by Baltimore City Workforce Investment Board). Internally, the results were used for strategic and operational planning, which Milena led and participated in.
She also was a member of a Baltimore City Mayoral Budget Results Team for Growing Economy reviewing budget proposals, Workforce Committee of the Opportunity Collaborative initiative, and Anne Arundel County Local Management Board. She holds graduate degrees in economics (V.N. Karazin National University, Ukraine) and public policy (Indiana University).
