Brian Fleming is vice president of strategy and innovation at the Innovation Center: Southern New Hampshire University’s internal consultancy and concept development group. The center’s mission is to relentlessly challenge the status quo to solve the most difficult problems the university’s current and future learners face.
Brian oversees innovation and design research projects for key strategic initiatives and focuses on guiding projects through the lens of digital learning and business model transformation. He has broad experience in academic innovation, market strategy, and portfolio management, and has led several projects for executive leadership to help build partnerships, support and guide innovation teams, and chart a course for the University to better impact the lives of our learners.
Brian also serves on the board of the LearnLaunch Institute which catalyzes an education innovation ecosystem that drives innovation to transform learning and increase achievement. Prior to joining SNHU, he was a principal at Tyton Partners, a strategy consulting firm focused on education and human capital management markets, and a senior analyst at Eduventures, a Boston-based research firm supporting the higher education community.
Brian earned his bachelor’s from Texas A&M University, his master’s from Boston College, and is currently completing his Ed.D. at Vanderbilt University.
